Protective Trim Strips – Wing, Front Door
and Rear Door, Replace (up to MY 2000)
 Remove
Note: Removal of the
protective trim strips without destruction is not possible.

Detach side turn signal lamp, protective trim strip.
Install
Clean adhesive points. Remove protective trim strips from
adhesive surface (1), insert protective trim strip in bores with
positioning clips (2), press in protective trim strip, attach side
turn signal lamp.

Note: Minimum
processing temperature is 18 °C / 66 °F.
If necessary, repair paint damage - see group "B".
