  Remove

Remove semi-trailing arm – see operation "Semi-trailing Arm, Replace".

Saw off collar on damping bushing (1) on differential side in semi-trailing arm as shown in illustration.

Cut off protruding rubber bead on outer damping bushing on wheel side.

Press out both damping bushings from outside inwards using KM-619-4 (2), and KM-619-3 (3).

  Install

Coat new plastic-coated damping bushing (2) with soft soap and press into bracket on differential side of semi-trailing arm with collar pointing towards rear differential using KM-619-4 and KM-619-2.

Coat new damping bushing made of rubber (1) with soft soap and press into bracket on wheel side of semi-trailing arm using KM-619-4 (3), KM-619-1 (4) and KM-619-2 (5).
