Anti - lock Brake System ABS - 2SH without / with TC (Traction Control)

The ABS - 2SH anti - lock brake system is one of the vehicle's additional active safety elements. The advantages are:

-      Braking stability

-      Maneouvrability when braking, or when changing direction during braking

-      Optimal braking distance

for the vehicle in all operating conditions.

Important:

Anti - lock brake systems cannot change physical limits. The friction coefficient between tyre and road surface can only be better utilized by technology, not increased. The braking distance is still considerably longer on a slippery surface than on dry roads.

The Traction Control (TC) is another additional, active vehicle safety systems. The advantages are:

-      Retention of vehicle steering capability

-      Retention of stability

-      Optimal traction

for the vehicle in all operating conditions.

The ABS - 2SH is a development of the ABS - 2S, which was used in the Omega - A / Cariton and the Senator - B.

Its function corresponds to that of the ABS - 2EH anti~lock brake system in the Astra - F, Vectra / Cavalier and Calibra. The  functions of the TC (Traction Control) can also be integrated into the ABS - 2SH control unit.
