·   An interruption / short circuit to ground of the lead between the solenoid valve for the rear brake circuit and the control unit is recognized immediately.

·   A short - circuited coil in the solenoid valve or a short circuit to battery of the lead between the solenoid valve and control unit is recognized during the drive - off test at a vehicle speed above 6 km/h (3.5 mph) (current drift measurement).

Effects:

·   Valve actuation not possible

·   The ABS is switched off

·   The ABS telltale is switched on
