 Remove
Remove hydraulic modulator, see operation "Hydraulic Modulator,
Remove and Install or Replace (ABS 2 SH/TC)" or "Hydraulic
Modulator with ABS Control Unit, Remove and Install (ABS 5.3/TC)".
Unscrew fastening bolts (1). Remove hydraulic modulator bracket.
Vehicles with 6 cylinder petrol engine: Detach heat shield from
hydraulic modulator bracket.
Install
Vehicles with 6 cylinder petrol engine: Attach heat shield to
hydraulic modulator bracket – tightening torque – 8 Nm
/ 6 lbf. ft. Insert hydraulic modulator bracket with heat shield
and attach to front frame side member – tightening torque 10
Nm / 7.5 lbf. ft.
Install hydraulic modulator – see operation "Hydraulic
Modulator, Remove and Install or Replace (ABS 2 SH/TC)" or
"Hydraulic Modulator with ABS Control Unit, Remove and Install (ABS
5.3/TC)".
