REAR SOLENOID

VALVE CIRCUIT

·   An interruption / short to ground of the lead between the solenoid valve for the rear brake circuit and the control unit is recognized immediately

·   A short in coil of the solenoid valve or a short to battery voltage of the lead between solenoid valve and control unit is recognized during the starting test at a vehicle speed higher than 6 km/h (4 mph)

     (current drift measurement).

Effects:

·  No valve actuation possible

·   ABS is switched off

·   ABS telltale is switched on
