Brake Disc, Precision Turn – Rear Brake

Note: For precision
turning of rear brake disc remove also rear brake caliper, all
further operations are the same as for front brake disc.
 Remove
Remove rear wheels. Remove brake caliper – see operation
"Brake Caliper – Rear Wheel Brake, Remove and Install or
Replace".
Measure
Check surface condition. Measure brake disc thickness using
MKM-230-A. Minimum brake disc thickness is 11 mm. When this
dimension has been attained, new brake linings must only be
installed once more. Brake discs must then be replaced.

Machine
Precision turn brake discs – see operation "Brake Disc,
Precision Turn – Front Brake Disc".
Install
Install brake caliper – see operation "Brake Caliper
– Rear Wheel Brake, Remove and Install or Replace". Attach
rear wheels – tightening torque 110 Nm / 81 lbf. ft.
