Coolant Bridge, Remove and Install
 Remove

Remove intake bridge – see operation "Intake Bridge,
Remove and Install".
Open coolant drain screw at radiator and collect coolant.
Detach coolant hoses (1) from coolant bridge.
Detach wiring harness plug (2) from coolant temperature sensor,
wiring harness plug (3) from coolant temperature sender.
Remove hollow bolts (4) and remove coolant bridge – note
seal rings.

Install
Attach coolant bridge with hollow bolts and new seal rings to
cylinder head – 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug to coolant temperature sender and
coolant temperature sensor. Attach coolant hoses to coolant bridge.
Install intake bridge – see operation "Intake Bridge, Remove
and Install".
Top up cooling system – see operations "Cooling System,
Top Up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".
