Valve tilt play, check (25 DT, X 25 DT, Y 25 DT) > < Installation height of valve guide, check

Cylinder head, check for coolant leaks (25 DT, X 25 DT, Y 25 DT)

Special service tools required:

Remover KM-842 (1 to 5)

Caution

Before checking, carefully remove gasket residues from cylinder head sealing surface. Sharp-edged metal tools must not be used for cleaning. Ensure that cylinder head sealing surface is not damaged.

Install

Seal coolant circuit with KM-842 (1 to 5). Pressurise cylinder head to 4.5 bar.

Lay cylinder head in a water bath (reduce surface tension with washing-up liquid if necessary) and note bubble formation.
