  Remove

Remove visco-fan – see operation "Visco-fan, Remove and Install".

Remove ribbed V-belts – see operation "Ribbed V-belts, Remove and Install".

Remove ribbed V-belt guide roller (1).

Remove lower engine compartment cover.

Remove rubber grommet (2) from plastic cap (3) of alternator. Remove plastic cap (3) from alternator and suspend on the side.

Remove cable connections from alternator.

Remove lower fastening bolt.

Remove upper fastening bolt (1).

Remove alternator upwards.

  Install

Insert alternator from above.

Install upper and low alternator attachment screws – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.

Attach cable connections to alternator.

Connect plastic flap to alternator.

Attach rubber grommet to alternator.

Install lower engine compartment cover - tightening torque 5 Nm / 3.7 lbf. ft.
