Manual Transmission from Engine, Detach and
Reattach
 Remove
Remove engine – see operation "Engine, Remove and
Install".
|
Unclip coolant hose (1) from bracket (2) and detach bracket from
transmission.
Install
Attach KM-6278 (3) to transmission.

|
Attach cable to engine via engine transport shackle (1) and
KM-6278 (3).
Remove
Detach fastening nuts (2) from engine damping block on right and
left.
Lift engine from front axle body.
|
|
|
Detach charge air hose from turbocharger.
Detach engine damping block bracket on right and left from
cylinder block.
Install
Attach KM-412-14-1 (3) and KM-412-14-2 (2) to cylinder
block.
Attach engine to KM-412-A (1).
Remove
Detach cables from engine transport shackle and KM-6278.

Detach cable connections from starter (3).
Remove fastening bolts (2) and remove starter.
Detach wiring harness plug (1) from reversing lamp switch.
Unclip wiring harness (4) out of bracket.
Detach transmission (5) from cylinder block.

Install
Attach transmission to cylinder
block:
- – Tightening torque M10: 40 Nm / 30 lbf. ft.
- – Tightening torque M12: 60 Nm / 44.5 lbf. ft.
Attach wiring harness plug to reversing lamp switch and clip
wiring harness into bracket.
Install starter – tightening torque 45 Nm / 33 lbf.
ft.
Attach cable connection to starter – x3.
Attach cable to engine via engine transport shackle and
KM-6278.
Remove
Detach engine from KM-412-A.
Detach KM-412-14-1 and KM-412-14-2 from cylinder block.
Install
Attach engine damping block bracket – tightening torque 60
Nm / 44 lbf. ft.
Install charge air hose.
Place engine on front axle body and attach fastening nuts to
engine damping blocks – tightening torque 55 Nm / 41 lbf.
ft.
Remove
Detach cables from engine transport shackle and KM-6278.
Remove KM-6278 from cylinder head.
Install
Attach coolant hose bracket to cylinder head – tightening
torque 60 Nm / 44 lbf. ft.
Clip coolant hose into bracket.
Install engine – see operation "Engine, Remove and
Install".
