Engine Oil Cooler, Remove and Install

 Remove
Undo front section of left wheel house panelling.
Detach air supply rubber couplings (7 and 8).
Detach oil supply and return line (1) from engine oil cooler
(2). Collect escaping oil. Close off oil supply and return line
openings.
Remove 2 attachment screws (4) and remove engine oil cooler with
holder (5) from below.
Note: When replacing
engine oil cooler, remove securing ring (6) and modify the holder.
Check that rubber receptacles (3) in holder are in perfect
condition.
Attach holder to engine oil cooler with new securing ring.

Install
Insert engine oil cooler and holder from below and install
attachment screws.
Remove caps for oil feed and return line apertures. Attach oil
feed and return lines to engine oil cooler.
Connect air supply rubber couplings – ensure that air
supply is properly fitted.
Attach front section of left wheel house panelling.
Inspect
Start engine and allow to run until oil pressure telltale goes
off. Turn engine off, check engine oil level, correct if
necessary.
Check oil cooler connections for leaks.
