DOHC II Petrol Engines (X 20 XEV, Y 22 XE, Z 22 XE) – Engine Identification/Engine Number
The engine identification code is embossed on the flattened area on the cylinder block on the transmission side.
Caution
On installation of a short-block, the engine number must be embossed in the cylinder block before installation.
