Engine Oil Leaks

All vehicle types with V6 DOHC petrol engine (X25XE and X30XE)
Condition:
Recent investigations have also highlighted that the oil pressure regulation plunger can become stuck, causing too high oil pressure and resulting in oil leaks from gaskets and / or seals. Before replacing the affected gasket(s), check the operation of the oil pressure to ensure that it does not exceed 6 bars through all engine speeds.
Remedy:
If oil pressure exceeds 6 bars, then it will be necessary to replace the oil pump and the affected gasket or seal.
