Remove intake bridge – see operation "Intake Bridge, Remove and Install".

For left cylinder head cover: Lift tab of oil filler port and twist oil filler port to remove.

For X 25 XE, X 30 XE: Detach spark plug connector with MKM-836.

For Y 26 SE, Y 32 SE: Remove DIS ignition modules – see operation "DIS Ignition Module for Cylinders 1-3-5, Remove and Install (Y 26 SE, Y 32 SE)" and "DIS Ignition Module for Cylinders 2-4-6, Remove and Install (Y 26 SE, Y 32 SE)".

Disconnect cylinder head cover (1) from cylinder head.

  Clean

Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket remnants.

Apply adhesive sealing compound (black) to sealing surfaces (arrows). Insert new gaskets (2) in cylinder head cover.

Attach cylinder head cover to cylinder head – tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.

For Y 26 SE, Y 32 SE: Install DIS ignition modules – see operation "DIS Ignition Module for Cylinders 1-3-5, Remove and Install (Y 26 SE, Y 32 SE)" and "DIS Ignition Module for Cylinders 2-4-6, Remove and Install (Y 26 SE, Y 32 SE)".

For X 25 XE, X 30 XE: Connect spark plug connectors to spark plugs.

Attach oil filler port to left cylinder head cover.

Install intake bridge – see operation "Intake Bridge, Remove and Install".
