Note: The upper
toothed belt guide roller (2) may only be replaced as an assembly
with base plate and toothed belt guide roller (3).
 Remove
Removing toothed belt - see operations "Toothed Belt, Remove and
Install", and "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed
belt drive)".
Remove fastening screws (1) and remove base plate with toothed
belt tension roller (3) and toothed belt guide roller (2) from
cylinder head.
In version without modified toothed belt drive:
Remove toothed belt guide roller (4) from oil pump.
In the version with modified toothed belt drive the removal of
the lower toothed belt guide roller is described in operation
"Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed belt
drive)".
Install
In version without modified toothed belt drive:
Attach lower toothed belt guide roller to oil pump - tightening
torque 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft.
In the version with modified toothed belt drive the installation
of the lower toothed belt guide roller is described in operation
"Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed belt
drive)".
Attach base plate with upper toothed belt tension roller and
toothed belt guide roller to cylinder head – tightening
torque 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft.
Install toothed belt - see operations "Toothed Belt, Remove and
Install" and "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed
belt drive)".
