Note:

If the ignition is switched in when the engine is cold after "ignition OFF", TECH 1 displays "ON" for a maximum of 4 s. However, communication is lost when "ignition OFF" and is not reestablished quickly enough when the ignition is switched "ON" again; the change in the parameter value can therefore not be observed.
