INCORRECT RPM SIGNAL

25, 26

·   Incorrect engine speed signal recognized

·   Condition must be fulfilled for at least 0.42 s

Replacement values:

·   Engine speed from start of injection sensor

Effects:

·   The maximum output is reduced.

·   The engine idle speed is increased to approx. 2000 rpm.

·   If there is a malfunction while decelerating, the engine is switched off.

·   The exhaust gas recirculation valve is switched off.

·   If there is a malfunction at an engine speed below approx. 1800 rpm, the engine may stall.

Note:

The ride comfort is compromised.
