Engine running at idle speed, operating temperature

 

Vehicle stationary

 

Press key F 6 in the main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

 

Note:

In this adjustment mode, it is possible to lower / increase the quantity of fuel for starting that is to be injected by approx. 5 mg / stroke using the arrow keys.

In this adjustment mode, TECH 1 specifies the previously adjusted injection quantity for starting to the control unit and the control unit regulates the engine to this amount.

This mode should be used if the engine is difficult to start although the preheater system is intact.
