Compaint: Poor Engine Driveability Rough idle speed with upper ranged O2-idle characteristic map (right=1), and deteriorated power brake assistance.
Cause: Leakage between EGR valve adapter and intake plenum. Due to a nonexeptionally behaviour in settlement of the gasket all three fastening screws are getting loose.
Production Solution: Affected vehicles: Omega-B, as of MY 94, Sintra as of MY 97
Special Part: No
Remedy: Tighten the screws (8 Nm). Do not replace the gasket, because the gasket has already been settled. Tighten the screws again for a torque of 8 Nm after warm-up and cool-off.
