Temperature Switch S58
In the Omega - B, the SIMTEC 56.1 engine control unit in the engine compartment relay box is monitored by temperature switch S58. If there is a malfunction in the relay box fan cooling and the temperature gets too high, S58 switches on and causes the engine telltale to be switched on via the engine control unit. To avoid damage to the engine control unit, the fault should be eliminated in a workshop as soon as possible.
