Note:

The nominal idle speed, and therefore also the actual idle speed (engine speed) of this engine system can be altered in several increments in the range from approx. 700 to 1000 rpm, by reprogramming the control unit with TECH 1.

Carry out corresponding TECH 1 adjustment (sect. 3.3.5.1).

At present, vehicles ex works are supplied with the idle speeds specified in test step 21.
