Remove water deflector remove – see operation "Water Deflector, Remove and Install" in group "A".

Unclip retaining clamp (1) and remove rubber retainer (2) with throttle cable from bracket.

Remove retaining clamp (3) from ball head (4). Disconnect ball head from throttle actuation – lever out carefully using screwdriver.

Disconnect wiring harness plug (5) for kickdown switch (located behind brake servo) disconnect.

Remove 3 clips for footwell panelling on driver's side. Pull footwell panelling forwards out of guide rail (1). Unscrew air duct (1 screw) and remove.

Pull fixing piece (1) with spring (2) out of bore hole in pedal (arrow). Disconnect throttle cable from pedal.

Pull throttle cable with kickdown switch to engine out of bulkhead.

The kickdown switch can only be replaced in assembly with throttle cable.

Install throttle cable with kickdown switch in bulkhead. Connect throttle cable to pedal. Install fixing piece and spring onto bore hole in pedal.

Insert air nozzle and bolt on (1 bolt). Install footwell panelling (3 clips).

Connect wiring harness plug to kickdown switch (located behind brake servo).

Press ball head onto throttle actuation and secure with retaining clip. Attach rubber retainer with accelerator cable to counterhold. Secure accelerator cable with retaining clip – ensure that the accelerator cable is loose but without play.

Install water deflector – see operation "Water Deflector, Remove and Install" in group "A".
