Manual Transmission, Replace (Transmission Removed)
Torque
Reverse lamp switch (1) with new seal ring to transmission nose piece – 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
Rear engine suspension with exhaust support (2) to nose piece (1) – 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft. Crossmember (3) to support (4) – 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
Inspect
Centring sleeves (arrows) must remain in engine flange. If stuck in transmission, remove and install in engine.
Caution
New transmissions are supplied with central release complete with pressure and vent lines.
