Remedy:
In case of complaint do not replace steering gear. Fit new hose.

For exact diagnostics follow the steps below:
- find out the characteristic program line with TECH 1 (F7) and
note.
- try a higher characteristic line:
program a characteristic line which is a value of 3 higher
than the existing.
f. ex.: 003 ->
006, 004 ->
007, 005 ->
008
- make a trial run with the vehicle and assess the noise. For
correct assessment of the noise,the steering hydraulic must
have a temperature of ca. 100°C.
If the solution does not work fit a new hose.
