Signalling Devices
The alarm is struck both acoustically and visually,
The acoustic alarm is produced by a separate horn which sounds at intervals or continuously (depending on country). To prevent manipulation, the separate horn is positioned at an extremely inaccessible point in the engine compartment and can, depending on country, be used in conjunction with the standard horn,
The visual alarm is produced by flashing of the hazard warning lamps. In case of an alarm, these flash for a total of 5 minutes.
