Trouble-shooting for TECH 1 and Diagnostic Plug
TECH 1 refers to table 1 if the unit is correctly connected, but data cannot be received from the control unit. In this case, perform the following tests:
· Carry out TECH 1 self-test as described in the TECH 1 Operating Instructions. mportant: For this test, TECH 1 must be connected to the battery with the battery connection lead.
· Check DLC adapter being used as described in the TECH 1 Operating Instructions.
If data still cannot be received after the self-test, check the
· diagnostic plug · voltage supply of the relevant control unit · ground connection of the relevant control unit
according to table 1 (see sections 3.3.1, 4.3.1 and 6.3.1).
