Battery discharges if ignition key is not removed on vehicles with radio SC 804.

 

Cause:

The connection 'W' in the contact part of the ignition switch is supplied with voltage when the key is inserted. As this connection is used for the radio, the battery discharges over time

Production Solution:

 

Remedy:

Move connection cable for the radio from conection "W" to terminal 15.

 

 

Omega-B MY 94 with SC 804 radio:

Battery discharches if ignition key is not removed.

 

The connection "W" in the contact part of the ignition switch is supplied with voltage when the key is inserted.

As this connection is used for the radio, the battery may become discharged if the vehicle is left for an extended period of time with the key inserted.

 

Change connection cable for the radio from connection "W" in the plug for the contact part /ignition switch to terminal 15 in the plug for the contact part /ignition switch.
