Only vehicles with infrared remote control:

Ignition OFF

Remove ignition key from ignition lock

Button on key infrared transmitter not pressed

INACTIVE

Centre button on key infrared transmitter pressed

Note:

With ignition ON, the reception range of the receiver is limited to approx. 20 cm / 8 in.

Ensure that the key infrared transmitter being used is programmed (see test steps 21 and 22).

It may be necessary to actuate the buttons several times (two to three times) for the above test steps before the system reacts.
