KEY DETECTED

Only vehicles with infrared remote control:

Ignition OFF

All doors closed

Depress one button of infrared key transmitter

KEY 1

or

KEY 2

KEY 3

KEY 4

KEY 5

Note:

If TECH 1 displays UNKNOWN the infrared key transmitter actuated is either not programmed or not approved for the vehicle.

It may also be necessary to depress buttons several times (twice or three times) for the above test steps, before the system reacts.

The red LED in the infrared key transmitter must lluminate every time a button is depressed (if not, this means that the batteries are flat).
