KEY 1 PROGRAM ST

Only vehicles with infrared remote control:

Ignition OFF

All doors closed

-

-

Centre button of infrared key transmitter 1 depressed

IN RANGE

Note:

Each time a button is pressed, the red LED in the key infrared transmitter must illuminate (otherwise the battery is discharged).

If TECH 1 displays INVALID the key infrared transmitter 1 is not programmed or the wrong key infrared transmitter was actuated.

The vehicle is provided with two programmed keys by the manufacturer, i. e. INVALID is normally displayed for the following parameters KEY 3 STATUS to KEY 5 STATUS

If TECH 1 displays OUT OF RANGE the key infrared transmitter 1 must be synchronized as follows:

Ignition ON

Hold key infrared transmitter 1 very close to infrared receiver in interior lamp and press centre button several times within 10 s

If TECH 1 then does not display IN RANGE, key infrared transmitter 1 must be reprogrammed as specified in section 6.3.4.2.
