Turn key in driver's door 30° to the left

(central door locking system unlocked)

ARM      0V

LED of electronic

immobilizer flashes

Note:

After the key has been turned 30° or 60° to the right in the driver's door, the LED of the electronic immobillizer flashes regularly for approx. 10 s (anti - theft warning system is being armed). The LED then flashes irregularly (anti - theft warning system is armed). If the driver's door left ajar is now opened, the driver's door contact switch is actuated and the anti - theft warning system triggers alarm. The relevant alarm code is stored in the control unit of the anti - theft warning system.

The LED then flashes irregularly (anti - theft warning system is armed).

If the driver's door left ajar is now opened, the driver's door contact switch is actuated and the anti - theft warning system triggers alarm. The relevant alarm code is stored in the control unit of the anti - theft warning system.

If the TECH 1 displays ARM 0 V before the first test step, the electronic immobilizer is still armed. It may also be necessary to depress the middle button several times (twice or three times) for the above test steps before the system reacts.

Ensure that a programmed infrared key transmitter is used (see test steps 21 and 22).

The red LED in the infrared key transmitter must illuminate every time the button is depressed (if not, this means that the batteries are flat).

Depress centre button of infrared key transmitter once again and release again
