Note:
If instructions of TECH 1 are
not followed exactly, a faulty diagnosis can result. When radio is switched
on, a self-test of the radio display bus is automatically performed. During
this self-test the radio unit sends certain signals via the radio display bus
to the MID. TECH 1 reads these signals from the MID and evaluates them.
