Note:
If the instructions in the TECH
1 display are not followed precisely, the diagnosis may be incorrect.
When the radio is switched on,
a self-test of the radio display bus is performed automatically. In this
self-test, the radio unit sends certain signals via the radio display bus to
the TID. TECH 1 reads the signals from TID and evaluates them.
If the display on the right
does not appear in the TECH 1 display, TECH 1 indicates the exact fault and
the fault location. The abbreviations have the following meanings:
