Ambient Temperature Sensor

 

The ambient temperature sensor is located behind the front bumper.

It consists of a high - precision NTC resistor.

·    Service

 

The sensor and the wiring harness can be diagnosed using TECH 1.

 

Checking with Multimeter MKM - 587A is also possible:

Check resistance of 26 - pin TID connection plug between pin 3 and pin 4.

In an intact sensor, resistance of between 1.5 kW and 100 kW will be measured, depending on the temperature of the sensor.
