Control Unit

Control unit K103 is installed
in the seat console of the driver's seat with two fastening bolts.
The entire memory system is
controlled from here.
The control unit, and
therefore the entire system, is immediately ready for operation after the
driver's door is opened and the ignition is switched on.
After the ignition is switched
off and the driver's door is closed, the system remains on standby for
another 30 seconds.
The control unit is connected
to the body wiring harness in the B pillar area, with a 26-pin wiring harness
plug for mirror adjustment and an 8-pin wiring harness plug for current
supply.

Note:
To remove the control unit, the driver's seat must be removed
and the seat console detached.
Stored data remains intact, even if the voltage supply is
interrupted.
If the control unit has been replaced, it must be
reprogrammed with TECH 1.
After programming, read out trouble codes.
Trouble code 55 can only be recognised if the following steps
are performed after programming:
1. Disconnect
TECH 1
2. Ignition
off
3. Close
driver's door
4. Wait
30 seconds until control unit in "rest" position
5. Connect
TECH 1
6. Call
up trouble code
