Voltage supply of electric outside mirror adjustment: wiring harness coupling X11

X11/ Ter. 11 (+)

X11/ Ter. 29 (Grnd)

·   Ignition OFF

·   Release wiring harness connection for driver's door X11 and disconnect

·   Ignition ON

·   Measurement at wiring harness coupling X11 (body side)

·   If nominal value is attained:
proceed with test step 2

11.5 V

Possible Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

1.  Fuse F13 defective

2.  Interruption or short circuit to ground in instrument panel wiring harness between fuse F13 and wiring harness connection X1/ Ter. 33

3.  No contact in wiring harness connection X1

4.  Interruption or short circuit in body wiring harness between X1/ Ter. 33 and X11/ Ter. 11

5.  Interruption in lead between X11/ Ter. 29 and ground or excessive transfer resistance to ground
