Install headliner in reverse order of removal.

Tip:

When reinstalling headliner, push molded headliner retaining straps into moldings (arrows) on edge of rear opening.

Install radio.

^

Install glove compartment and switch mounting in reverse order of removal.

^

Install A-pillar trim.

Warning:

Ensure that there is no person inside the vehicle when connecting battery ground cable.

^

Connect battery ground (GND) cable.

^

Connect VAG 1551/5052 Scan Tool.

^

Check all systems for stored DTC's.

^

Erase any stored DTC's.

^

After connecting battery, check vehicle equipment (radio code, clock, electric windows) as per Repair Manual and/or Owner's Manual.

^

Program radio station presets.
