Installing

CAUTION!
The physical and mechanical properties of HID bulbs are very sensitive Always use care when handling HID bulbs.

-

Insert new bulb, making sure that the bulb mounting aligns with the locating lugs in the housing.

-

Position retaining ring -1- recesses - arrows- over locking tabs -2- of HID bulb -3- and secure by turning clockwise.

-

Reinstall headlight housing.

-

Check headlight (HID lamp) function.

Check headlight aim

High beam bulb, replacing

CAUTION!
Do not touch glass portion of bulb with bare hands. Even the smallest amount of moisture and/or contaminants from fingers that evaporates on
the bulb during operation can cause the glass to cloud over.

Removing

-

Remove headlight housing.

-

Remove sealing cap.

-

Turn lever -1- on bulb mounting to left -arrow- to release.

-

Pull main beam bulb with mounting out from reflector.

Installing

Installation in reverse sequence of removal.

-

Check headlight (high beam bulb) function.
