Fuel Filter, Replacing

Fuel filter, replacing (Diesel engine)

Note:

Diesel fuel must not come in contact with coolant hoses. If necessary clean hose immediately.

Observe fuel and fuel filter disposal regulations!

Removing

- Pull off retaining clip -1- and take off control valve -2- with fuel lines connected.

- Pull off fuel hoses from connections -3- and -4-

- Slide filter into filter mounting and tighten screw -arrow-.

New filter, installing:

- Attach new 0-ring to control valve.

Note:

Fuel flow direction is marked on the connection by arrows (do not interchange connections).

- Fill new filter with Diesel fuel before installing

Filling the filter makes starting the engine easier
