Passive Occupant Detection System (PODS), Removing And Installing (USA)

NOTE:

-

When removing Passive Occupant Detection System PODS), all wires disconnected must be reconnected correctly when installing.

-

Before beginning work on Passive Occupant Detection System (PODS), note how all wires are connected and routed.

Removing

-

Switch ignition off.

-

Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap

-

Remove driver/passenger seat (use Airbag adapter VAS 5094 ).

-

Remove bolt on inside of seat - arrow -.

-

Remove plastic rivet -1 - at front part of seat.

-

Loosen plastic cover - 2 - by unhooking at lower part of seat - 3 -.

-

Remove bolt - arrow -.
