Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Testing and Inspection
The Engine Control Module (ECM) receives the Transmission Range change signal from the Transmission Control Module (TCM) via the data bus. The
ECM briefly reduces the injection quantity and thus reduces the torque and resulting shift jolt.
