Assembly Carrier, Removing and Installing (Convertible)

The door lock and the loudspeaker are secured to the assembly carrier.
The door lock can only be removed in conjunction with the subframe.

Removing

Remove front door trim  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair

Remove lock cylinder housing.  See: Body and Frame/Locks/Door Locks/Door Lock Cylinder/Service and Repair

Unclip clip -1- from door handle.

Remove bolts -1- tightening torque: 20 Nm

Unclip wiring harness and disconnect connectors -arrows-.

Remove bolts/screws -1-, -3- and nut -2-. Pull top of mounting plate off door, lift and take out of door towards hinges.
