Clutch Pedal, Removing And Installing

Removing 
-

Remove over-center spring.

-

Separate clutch pedal from master cylinder and push operating rod toward engine compartment onto stop.

-

Remove nut -A-.

-

Pull bolt out and remove clutch pedal.

Installing 
Install the clutch pedal in the reverse order of removal and note the following-
-

Removing over-center spring.

-

The retainer -A- must be fitted to the master cylinder operating rod -B-.

-

Press clutch pedal in direction of arrow to engage. Ensure correct location.

Fill brake fluid reservoir up to MAX marking with brake fluid. Refer to Brakes and Traction Control.

-

Bleed clutch system if fluid level is below MIN marking.
