Door Lock, Removing and Installing

Door Lock, Removing And Installing

Removing

Door window must be closed.

-

Remove door handle.

-

Remove front door trim, carefully remove insulation foil in rear area.

-

Remove Torx bolts - 1 - and disengage pull rod, tightening torque: 8 Nm.

Installing

-

Loosen adjusting screw - arrow - before installing door lock.

After installing lock/handle, tighten adjusting screw (Torx adjusting screw T20 tightening torque = 3 Nm).

Left lock - right-hand thread
Right lock - left-hand thread
Adjustment is performed by tightening adjusting screw.

Rest of installation is reverse order of removal.
