Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

Headlight and turn signal bulbs (Cabrio from 10.98), replacing

Note:

Do not touch bulb glass when installing a new bulb.  Fingers leave traces of grease on the glass, which evaporate when bulb is switched on,
causing glass to cloud over

- Release spring clip -arrow- and remove sealing cover.

Low beam bulb, replacing

- Disconnect harness connector -1- at lamp.

- Disengage spring clip -2- by pushing on locking lugs -3-.

- Pull bulb -4- out of reflector.

Do not touch glass during installation.

- Insert new bulb so that lugs on laminated plate align with grooves
in reflector.

- Attach harness connector -1-.

- Attach sealing cap.

- Always check headlight setting after installing new bulb.

High beam bulb, replacing

- Disconnect electrical connector at sealing cap.
