Rear Window Hinge, Reinstalling Bracket to Glass

Rear window hinge bracket, loose from glass.

Technical Background
Convertible top glass hinge comes loose from rear glass.

Production Solution

Production stopped during MY 2002.

Service

-

Place convertible top in the vertical position (pointing straight up).

Remove bolt -1- from hinge and remove bracket.

Tip: Prior to cleaning the adhesive residue from the inner glass use a China Marker to identify at the outside of the glass the bracket mount
location.

Clean adhesive from surface of glass where bracket mounts to glass (arrow).

Clean adhesive from bracket.

Apply adhesive "Wurth - AdhesivFlex" to hinge and glass (see tip below).
