MODEL(S):

Jetta (German Prod. only), Scirocco (Canada only), Cabriolet, m.y. 1989 from November 1988
A modified headlight switch has been installed into 1989 Jetta (German production only), Scirocco (Canada only), and Cabriolet vehicles produced from
November 1988. The new switch includes the following additional terminals:

terminal 58e            connection from fuse S 20 (10A) to instrument panel light dimmer switch

^

terminal NSL           connection for rear fog light (not presently used)

CAUTION The modified headlight switch is different from the headlight switch previously used. DO NOT interchange the two types of switches.
