Due to the incorporation of micro switches into the exterior door handles, a spring loaded centering pin has been added to the lock cylinder assembly.

Lock cylinder installation, door handle removed.

Pull door handle mechanism into release position. This will expose a 2.8 mm installation opening in the lock cylinder housing. Arrow

Insert lock cylinder into door handle. Carefully align centering pin opening in cylinder with installation opening in cylinder housing.

Insert centering pin spring into 2.8 mm opening. Arrow

Lubricate and place centering pin on top of spring.

^

Insert small punch into the 2.8 mm opening compressing the centering pin assembly until the lock cylinder can is fully seated.

Rotate seated lock cylinder 900 counter clockwise (Normal operating range).

Reattach locking paw and spring.
