Front Door Hinge: Service and Repair

Door Hinges, Assembly Overview 

NOTE: 

-

The description applies to the right side. The left side is similar.

Bolts for door hinges must always be replaced after loosening.

Hinge is divided

Socket head bolt

M8 X 24

-

Tightening torque: 20 Nm + 1/4 additional turn (90°)

Always replace bolts after loosening

Tightening torque: 20 Nm + 1/4 additional turn (90°)

Remove when removing door

Always replace bolts after loosening

Lower part of door hinge with door arrester

Hinge is divided

Installed from the vehicle interior

-

Remove lower A-pillar trim

-

Tightening torque: 20 Nm + 1/4 additional turn (90°) 

-

Always replace bolts after loosening
